Ian D.

Probably the first thing you'll notice about NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist Ian D. is his ear to ear grin and easily approachable, friendly nature. Ian is a natural people person with a lifetime background in exercise. Having played nearly every sport in existence from contact sports such as football and wrestling to endurance oriented activities such as triathlon and adventure races, Ian has experienced and excelled at nearly every style of exercise and training he has directed his focus towards. The best thing is that he brings this passion and commitment to his clients and uses his exercise programming and motivational guidance to bring them closer to their goals with every session. You'll most definitely notice that he practices what he preaches, and will never ask you to do something he hasn't tried and experienced for himself.
Currently, Ian is pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at the University of North Florida. When he's not with his clients or flipping heavy equipment tires down the road and snatching barbells you'll usually find him doing one of any numerous activities from surfing, swimming, and fishing, to trail runs and Crossfit.
From Ian: "I take an intelligent approach to exercise. Many people like to spend hour upon hour in the gym and never experience the results they want, and I think most people would agree that maximizing your time these days is key to reaching your goals. I won't overtrain you, and I won't waste your time doing countless bicep curls and sit-ups. I take into account your limitations, and use functional, realistic movements in my training that not only maximize calories burned in the given time, but also reinforce natural movement patterns that improve your overall quality of life."
